2020, I WELCOME you with open arms, as I say good-bye to 2019. A year that dealt out much pain, grief and loss. A year in which I questioned who I was, what was my purpose, and did I matter. See, I lost myself in the raising of my four grandchildren and the taking care of others. 2019 gave me the opportunity to examine myself. I had to admit to being mentally tired and emotionally drained. Feeling like the perverbial dog chasing its tail.
2019 also allowed me to go back to church Anchored in Truth Ministries, where the Pastor, Dr. Diana M. Brewer and members have loved up this once broken and tired soul. 2019 allowed me to realize how Macaroni Kid was a saving grace for me. I did not stop working on it with new ideas on how to make it a family resource. I was told my several of the Macaroni Kid publishers as a reminder " It's not a sprint but a marathon!" I'm grateful for the marathon.
I see you all as my village and I want to share my truth and goals with you! I would LOVE for you to share yours with me! In order to accomplish goals; you need to tell people; share your dreams and goals, get and give encouragement, and get help from your group, inner circle wherever and whomever you consider them to be. Each week, I commit to share with you my truth on this journey call "Life." I will post my progress to the website and Facebook and really hope you will share with us your progress so we can encourage and help one another where we can.
Goals for Macaroni Kid Edwardsville-Glen Carbon:
- To earn the trust and build relationships within the community.
- Support local and small businesses.
- To write more articles that the community can connect to and relate with.
- Host more community events.
- To gain 1,500 subscribers
- To have Macaroni Kid become an household name as a go to resource for local families.
I want Macaroni Kid Edwardsville-Glen Carbon to be the ultimate resource for finding all your family fun! I'm determined to make Macaroni Kid bigger and better. Regeana's Goals for 2020
- Continue to increase my faith, my belief and trust in God. To be who called me to be in His Kingdom.
- LOVE Regeana more without the feeling of being selfish
- Learn to listen and learn to hear the grandchildren.
- Work on my health- walk more by joining 99walks, drink more water, Yoga with Flowidity Studios
- Continue to speak my truth
- To be more consistent in publishing the newsletter and posting on the social media outlets.
- Empower those around me!
Truly my biggest goal is to simply encourage you to crush your goals and reach your dreams! So lets get at it! Happy 2020
